                 Key: TOMAHAWK-863
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TOMAHAWK-863
             Project: MyFaces Tomahawk
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: Schedule
    Affects Versions: 1.1.5-SNAPSHOT
            Reporter: Michael Dowey

In outlook for example it is possible to select a period within a day (e.g. drag mouse down a selection of intervals) and then right click and choose to set up an appointmenet covering that period. A similar facility within the schedule would be a very user firendly way of creating an entry. It might be possible to store basic entry information client side and only send it to the server on submission? Alternatively have selection simply change the style of the selected cells on the client and fire selection start and selection end events to allow processing?
