------- Additional Comments From brandonp@tibco.com 2002-02-01 16:16 -------
Thanks for the suggestion, but all appears to be in order...here is the output
from the command you wanted me to try:

D:\dev\thirdparty\xerces-xalan\xerces2\bin>java -classpath xercesImpl.jar;xerces
Samples.jar;xmlParserAPIs.jar;. WhereAmI sax/Counter.class org/apache/xerces/par
sers/SAXParser.class
sax/Counter.class is jar:file:/D:/dev/thirdparty/xerces-xalan/xerces2/bin/xerces
Samples.jar!/sax/Counter.class
org/apache/xerces/parsers/SAXParser.class is jar:file:/D:/dev/thirdparty/xerces-
xalan/xerces2/bin/xercesImpl.jar!/org/apache/xerces/parsers/SAXParser.class

I also just wanted to show that there is nothing of interest in my machine's
classpath (and other machines I tried this on had no classpath whatsoever)

D:\dev\thirdparty\xerces-xalan\xerces2\bin>echo %classpath%
D:\Oracle\Ora81\orb\classes\yoj.jar;D:\Oracle\Ora81\orb\classes\share.zip

I also have no use of -Xbootclasspath or -bootclasspath. I'm glad to see the
verification that I am in fact using the right jars though.

I'm really at a loss here though since we have independent invalid successes and
everyone else has independent valid failures. Any other thoughts will be
greatly appreciated.
