analyzing User-Agent

Hi all,

I need to produce some browser statistics for a webapp. Do you know some tool or user-agent database to get this infos ?

I was thinking about using regular expression to put user-agent into categories. Do you think about any other way to do
this ?

Not a tool as such, but this website lists the different User-Agent strings 
that each browser provides:

http://www.zytrax.com/tech/web/browser_ids.htm

I'm not sure how up-to-date it is (it does mention Mozilla 1.4 though). Hope
