"selected bean not in the same module"

Paul commented on NETBEANS-5780:
--------------------------------
yes - there are workarounds, but I used NB for ~ 15 years because of low breaking-defects. The efficiency & power of NB was a differentiator.

> Key: NETBEANS-5780
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-5780
> Project: NetBeans
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: javaee - EJB Project
> Affects Versions: 12.4
> Environment: openjdk15
> OSX 11.4 (20F71)
> NB12.4 recently installed - has not been messed with
> Reporter: Paul
> Priority: Major
> Labels: EJB, editor

> replicating:
> * create enterprise project including EJB and Web module etc.
> * create EJB XYZ with Local interface. Add business method
> * create REST WS in the web project
> * inside a REST method, Ctrl-I and select Call Enterprise Bean
> * navigate to XYZ EJB module, and select the XYZ EJB.
> see red warning "{color:#de350b}selected bean is not in the same enterprise module{color}". see screenshot
> this project was created previously using the same steps as above, in NB12.1 or something. It deploys and runs using @Local references so clearly this is a regression (or some other change in project structure constraints).
