rvesse opened a new pull request #72:
URL: https://github.com/apache/jena-site/pull/72
Show how Jena can be used with alternative compression formats beyond those it supports natively
As discussed in apache/jena#1089 may be better to document how to use alternative compression formats rather than adding direct support for them

I'll do the same for the javadoc. For some reason, `IO` has never support snappy output (not that compressed output is used much outside of any HTTP support which is gzip only).

While snappy is in the code, I can't confirm it works and haven't seen mention on users@.
It only works in certain places (see wider JENA-2181 discussions)
Maybe not name it here?
