how to stress test solr

before stressing test, Should i close SolrCache?

which tool u use?

How to do stress test correctly?

Any pointers?

I like to use JMeter with a large queries file. This way you can measure
response times with lots of requests at the same time. Having JConsole
opened at the same time you can check the memory status
