Hi Mark! If you are talking about CFORMS, the issue is, that CFORMS defines 
that those validation error messages will be taken from the cataloque with 
id 'forms'. Simply add an additional catalog to the i18n transformer with that 
id into your sitemap and map it to your message catalog file. Looks like your 
problem is not a bug. Please check and update your bug report in case it works.

(My environment is coccon 2.1.7)
