When creating a new document at the same level as home, the document id contains
an extra "/" prefix.  This causes the URI to be formed incorrectly breaking
navigation.

Going to the site tab and selecting and node on the sitetree fixes the problem.
 While a work around, it is not intuitive to a non technical person
