[DISCUSS] Old dockerhub images
Hi all,
Someone pointed out that we have 2 old repositories still living on docker hub from when we were incubating [1] [2].
These repositories contain hop versions 1.0 and older.
What should we do with them? Leave them be as they could still be used by someone or do a request to the infra team to have them removed?
Follow up question, would there be a need to communicate that we will be removing those repositories (put it in a release announcement?)
Would love to hear your thoughts,
Hans

Hi All,
As discussed here we concluded that the old docker images were no longer needed.
I have created an infra ticket on JIRA (INFRA-25365) and it has already been closed. The old dockerhub locations should no longer be visible for end users.
Cheers,
Hans

Hi Hans,
sorry for the delay in my answer. I think we can remove these two repositories because I imagine no one is ever using these very old Hop's releases.

Hi All,
As there are no objections to this I am moving forward in the removal of the old Docker Hub location.
Cheers,
Hans
