Hi Greg,

Ok, but note that probably even in the /demos/www/swing-demo.template.html
there is a little problem (there is a not resolved tag inside the
license header i think).

So I wait in next days the updated artifacts, ok ?
And last, the (new) expiry date for the vote when will be (could be 23
or 24 December), to have more time to test ?

Thank you very much for the moment.

Bye,
Sandro

It's not that tough to re-run the release script, so I think we should just add the headers and re-gen the release.

I probably belong in the "lenient" camp. Copyright applies even if
there are no source headers.

My recommendation;

 1. Don't block the release, but if the release manager feels it is
important, he can choose to cut a new one.
 2. Add the source headers now.
 3. Make RAT part of the release build.
 4. Use IDEAs "Copyright plugin" or similar in Eclipse (if any).

Ok, great.

Sorry, one last thing, are you able even to look at this:
in the /demos/www/swing-demo.template.html there is a little problem
(there is a not resolved tag inside the
license header i think, maybe due to an xslt transform on that file).

Thank you very much.

The missing headers have been added - let's regen the release and call for a new vote.

Hi,

I agree with Niclas, we should have more time ... at least including one
week-end.

I've done a quick review of downloaded files, but I've seen 3 sources
(.java) that doesn't have the Apache License Header, and an html page (all
listed here:
http://people.apache.org/~tvolkert/dist/pivot/v2.0/apache-pivot-2.0-src.rat.txt
): I don't know if this is this blocking for the release ... Niclas (and
others), what do you say ?

Bye,
Sandro

I doubt anybody will object, but you are cutting the "at least 72
hour" vote rule a tad close by my calculations... So, "just in case
you didn't know", there is such window to allow people a chance to see
it, and take a closer look.

When I cut releases in the ancient past, I gave more time than that,
to ensure that dev@ community download, test and make final checks.
Typically including weekend time for hobbyists to have a go.
