[jira] [Created] (JEXL-411) Leading zeroes in floating point numbers should be optional

Felix Rudolphi created JEXL-411:
-----------------------------------

Summary: Leading zeroes in floating point numbers should be optional
                 Key: JEXL-411
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JEXL-411
             Project: Commons JEXL
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 3.3
            Reporter: Felix Rudolphi

When parsing arithmetic expressions, JEXL should be able to deal with omitted leading zeroes in floating point numbers between -1.0 and 1.0, e.g. ".1"
"(1+0.1)*2" evaluates to 2.2, while "(1+.1)*2" gives a parsing error. In Java, this is valid code.
