tomcat calling weblogic

Has anyone successfully had tomcat talk to a Weblogic server on a different
host?  If so, how did you configure tomcat?  

I've heard that all of Weblogic's classes and weblogicaux.jar must be in
tomcat's classpath.  Other than that, what else must be required of the
servlets to access weblogic's classes and EJB's?
