Infinite Session time out ..

Hello,
We are using the Tomcat 3.2.3 for our application.For infinite session time out 
performance the value to be set is "-1" as per the servlet specs.But the Tomcat 
3.2.3 is logging out the session if the timeout value is set to -1..
      If we set the session timeout value to -2,-3,-3.-4,-5,-6,-7,-8,-9,-
10...The Tomcat 3.2.3 server is providing the infinite session timeout!
It means negative values are valid for the session timeout except the -1 or the 
non working for -1 value is  a Bug?This need to be specified to the client!

   Pls. respond at the earliest we have the Release candidate to go for in a 
week 30Nov01 and a major "Show stopper " bug ority has been filed on it.
