1.5.1 Release
Now that everybody's had a chance to relax after 1.5.0, the
whip-cracking release manager is back. We've had a number of items
merged to 1.5.x, and STATUS continues to grow. Please take a minute and
review and vote on items in STATUS so that it doesn't get *too* large
and unmanageable. (And so that we can get important bug fixes merged to
1.5.x.)
I'm currently planning on rolling the 1.5.1 tarball during the week of
July 21st, probably on July 23rd. That date is negotiable at this
point, but I'd like to settle on something fairly quickly so that people
have a target to shoot for.
Whatever date we do decide on will be a hard deadline. If you're
working on a bugfix, and you don't quite get it done in time, don't
worry: another patch release will be leaving the station soon.
