Finding the Release Plan

I have to decide between using Axis 1.1 and 1.2 on a project. We cannot
deploy beta software to customers. Thus I need to determine whether 1.2
is likely to be finalized before our software ships.

I looked at the web site and the wiki and could not find a release plan,
either with dates or with a list of issues that have to be resolved to
go from beta to final. I searched this users and found no helpful posts
on this topic, mostly just a bunch of flames. There was a helpful post
on the dev list from 8/30/04 that indicated a release plan might be
available in a month (around now).

If this information is publicly available, directions on finding it are
appreciated. If it is privately available, I'd like to see it, if
possible. If it is not available, then a statement of that fact would be
great.

Disclaimer: I am not harassing the developers to get the final release
out sooner than they plan and I'm not complaining about software that is
provided free by generous souls. I am just pinging to see what current
plans are. :)

Thanks,

Derek Richardson
