   note, during time scheduler was running, i was upgrading docker to 3.0 
   
   i don't _think_ there is any relationship here but i just want to mention it in case
   
   one thing i _did_ just find just now is that docker 3.0 listens on port 8080 which is interfering with webserver but that is unrelated (process is `/Applications/Docker.app/Contents/MacOS/com.docker.backend -watchdog`).  why, i don't know 🤔
