   Thanks @adutra for the legal insights. It is great to confirm this aligns with the release distribution policy.
   Regarding the repository ID I believe `apache-polaris` is the right choice. It is consistent with other Apache projects on Artifact Hub (e.g., `apache-airflow`) which helps with consistency and discoverability.

   The changes in this PR look good to me, however this is just the very first step in a long path to ArtifactHub publication, afaict.

   I think that before merging, it would be good to discuss on the ML about the next steps:

   ## Registration

   According to the [Artifact Hub documentation](https://artifacthub.io/docs/topics/repositories/helm-charts/), for a Helm chart to appear on Artifact Hub: someone must manually register the repository in the Artifact Hub control panel (by signing in and adding the repository URL).

   **This will require manual intervention**: @jbonofre could you handle that?

   ## Release Workflow

   **The release scripts will need to be modified** as follows:

   * The `Chart.yaml` file would need to be edited and its ArtifactHub annotations (e.g. documentation links) updated according to the version being released.
   * The `artifacthub-repo.yml` file needs to be copied to the Helm chart repository root (same level as `index.yaml`) during the release process. (This file enables [Verified publisher](https://artifacthub.io/docs/topics/repositories/#verified-publisher) and [Ownership claim](https://artifacthub.io/docs/topics/repositories/#ownership-claim) features.)

   FYI @pingtimeout @snazy

   I replied on the mailing list. It's totally fine to publish artifacts on non ASF resources (like this or DockerHub) as soon as the artifact is ASF compliant.
   In terms of release process, I guess we have to ask infra to create account and provide GitHub secrets to us.

Review Comment:
   I have addressed the feedback by updating the nomenclature to "Apache Polaris PPMC" to correctly reflect the project's incubation status and simplified the documentation URL to https://polaris.apache.org/ to avoid needing version-specific updates with each release.

   Curious, why these screenshots as they are blog specific?

Review Comment:
   I am not sure if `big-data` is valid for artifacthub.io/category:
   ```
   artifacthub.io/category (string, see example below)
   This annotation allows publishers to provide the package's category. Please use only one category from the following list: ai-machine-learning, database, integration-delivery, monitoring-logging, networking, security, storage or streaming-messaging.
   ```

Review Comment:
   I think the documentation page is `https://polaris.apache.org/releases/1.3.0/` and we will likely need to bump this version as we move to the next release.

   A few insights from a legal perspective:

   ASF's Release Distribution Policy explicitly allows distribution through "downstream channels (rpm, deb, homebrew, etc.)":

   https://infra.apache.org/release-distribution.html

   I think ArtifactHub falls into this category as a package discovery/distribution platform.

   We also have some other Apache projects doing this: Airflow, Pulsar, etc.

   @jbonofre do you agree? Also, what do you think about the repository ID `apache-polaris`?

   FYI I thought initially there could be a better category, but in fact we don't have better options:
