Stopping or pausing the entire topology when there is an error in one thread

Hi,

I've noticed that even if one thread in Storm crashes, the Zookeeper
threads and logs keep running.
Is there a way to stop the entire cluster or at least pause the logging
everywhere so that an error message could be shown on the terminal OR so
that the entire cluster could be shutdown?
