[jira] [Commented] (TINKERPOP3-822) Neo4j GraphStep with element
arguments ignores has

stephen mallette commented on TINKERPOP3-822:
---------------------------------------------
I added a new variation of {{HasTest.g_VX1X_hasXage_gt_30X}} to the suite. It validates that:
{code}
g.V(v1).has('age', P.gt(30))
{code}
where {{v1}} is a {{Vertex}}. This of course failed tests in {{Neo4jGraph}} and {{TinkerGraph}} which forced some changes there. If other {{Graph}} implementations followed patterns set forth there, I would say that there is a good chance they also have this bug. These tests will likely fail in that event.

> When a neo4j traversal is started with explicit elements these elements are returned even if they do not satisfy has filters that have been merged into the start step. For example:
> {noformat}
> gremlin> graph = Neo4jGraph.open('/tmp/neo4j')
> ==>neo4jgraph[EmbeddedGraphDatabase [/tmp/neo4j]]
> gremlin> v0 = graph.addVertex(label, "foo")
> ==>v[0]
> gremlin> g = graph.traversal()
> ==>graphtraversalsource[neo4jgraph[EmbeddedGraphDatabase [/tmp/neo4j]], standard]
> gremlin> g.V(v0).has(label, "bar")
> ==>v[0]
> gremlin> g.V(v0).map{it.get()}.has(label, "bar") // map prevents has from merging into start step
> gremlin> g.V(v0).has("a", "b")
> ==>v[0]
> {noformat}
