[jira] [Commented] (ARROW-16797) [Python][Packaging] Update conda-recipes from conda-forge feedstock

H. Vetinari commented on ARROW-16797:
-------------------------------------

Without having been aware of the discussion here, I [proposed|https://github.com/apache/arrow/pull/14102#issuecomment-1246518048] a perhaps more integrated solution using submodules. Happy to have interested parties chime in (or move that discussion to a JIRA issue).

> Our conda-recipes have not been updated for the last 4 months ([https://github.com/apache/arrow/tree/master/dev/tasks/conda-recipes/.ci_support)] and they are not up-to-date with the upstream feedstocks:
> [arrow-cpp-feedstock]: [https://github.com/conda-forge/arrow-cpp-feedstock]
> [parquet-cpp-feedstock]: [https://github.com/conda-forge/parquet-cpp-feedstock]
> We should keep them up-to-date.
