R.I.P. mrdocs (1963–2019)

It is with incredibly heavy heart that I have to tell you all about this:
    https://www.scribus.net/r-i-p-mrdocs-1963-2019/

A lot of us Bigtop folks knew Peter in person and he was every bit
the kind of man that made Open Source what it is today. I'm rattled
and saddened to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family
and everyone around here who knew him.

Thanks,
Roman.

That sounds like a very good idea, but I don't have anything like an
address, etc.

Maybe Cos knows.

Thanks,
Roman.

R.I.P and thanks to everyone. It would be nice if at some point we could send something token to his family.

On that note I’ll be at the roadshow tomorrow, if anyone wants to get together maybe we can come up With something we can do to commemorate him.

Was going through an old photo-archive and came across this picture of
Peter. If I am not mistaken, it was taken at the Suse conference in
2013.

This is sad news, indeed. Peter and I never overlapped at Cloudera but he
went out of his way to find me at conferences and introduce me to people. I
very much appreciated his mentorship and friendship. If anyone does know of
an address or is planning to send a token to his family, I would like to
contribute.
