[Web Console] JQuery UI 1.8 has been released
Hi all,
It looks like JQuery UI 1.8 has been released [1]. So we may upgrade the
web console to JQuery 1.4 and JQuery UI 1.8.
Question is: Should we do this before the 3.0 release or delay until
after the release?
I would think we propose this upgrade until after the 3.0 release.
WDYT ?

Hello Felix,
I'm a little bit skeptic. Usually a brand-new-version means
brand-new-bugs. My suggestion is to wait until 1.8.x. At this time some
other plugins (ui.tabs.paging.js as example), depending on JQuery UI
might also be upgraded.
My suggestion is to stick with the current, older but stable version and
upgrade to the new JQuery UI after two or three months. This will be
enough time to see if any bugs will appear (and hopefully get fixed:)
BTW the new autocomplete widget is nice - it will allow as to add
autocomplete support for shell commands ;)

I think we should just do release now - we can fix and improve everything in
a 3.0.1/3.1 release, which we can do in a short time frame.
So unless there are real blockers, let's release :)
