Tez counters are null

Hi guys,

I am running Tez 0.5 compiled from master. In VertexImpl.java, when a TASK_STATUS_UPDATE_EVENT happens, I am trying to print the whole counters for the task.

The way I did it in tez-0.4 was simply:

TaskStatusUpdateEvent sEvent = (TaskStatusUpdateEvent) tezEvent.getEvent();
LOG.info(sEvent.getCounters().toString());

However, whenever a TASK_STATUS_UPDATE_EVENT happens, in Tez-0.5 compiled from master, it shows that sEvent.getCounters() is null.

Do I miss something ?

Robert

Nevermind. It seems that initially, some TASK_UPDATE_EVENT have null counters, but later they are starting to appear.
