Basic Authentication in 1.3.6 Win32

I thought I had seen a status report that said Basic Authentication is 
broken in the 1.3.6 Win32 build. However, the latest status report 
doesn't mention it and I can't find any mention in the bug database. Am I 
confused?

I think you're confused.  What's broken on the 1.3.6/Win32 platform
is plaintext passwords in AuthUserFile files.  Fixed in the
next release.
