This is a much better user experience, [~Sreenath]!

Couple of things
 * After the quick load is done, I still see the full DAG query plus application history being loaded even if data is not needed to show columns. This might be a bigger change, so could go in as a separate change. 
 * Progress spinner on pending columns will help the user know data is still being loaded. Not sure how much work this is.
 * There is a bug (pre-existing) where if columns !=10, queries are being requested twice. Please file a jira for this as this will help with data load greatly.

Let me know if you need any more information on this. I still want to see how this works with running jobs a little more before giving a plus one, but load time are so much better for me and my jobs.
