[jira] [Closed] (LEGAL-263) Boilerplate license acceptable for
binary distribution?
Henri Yandell closed LEGAL-263.
-------------------------------
Resolution: Won't Fix
Closing.
This doesn't seem to relate to an Apache product (ie: the executable deliverable doesn't sound like it's an Apache product), so the first info is that you should discuss the topic with your own lawyers (ie: we don't provide legal advice).
I will note that it is common to include copies of Open Source licenses in mobile app attribution.

> I'm distributing an executable deliverable, and in the "About" screen I list the 13 line boilerplate from the bottom of http://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0. However, in section 4a of the license I see that I'm obligated to "give" a copy of the license along with the application. Does this mean I should put the entire license into my About screen?
