New PMD plugin?

Hi,

I'd like to move the PMD plugin in the Maven CVS. Anyone against that?
If ok, I'll do it today.

Thanks

More Non-Core Plugins - Was Re: New PMD plugin?

Posted by Siegfried Göschl <si...@it20one.at>.
Hi folks,

There might be another few plugins of http://maven-
plugins.sourceforge.net/ worth migrating to non-core Maven plugin
since this project is intended as kindergarden for new MAVEN plugins.

+) There is an update of the JavaNCSS plugin around with JSTL
reporting for MAVEN B8 - but I don't have it yet ... :-(

+) My current favorite is the Canoo WebTest Plugin (see
http://webtest.canoo.com) which provides functional web testing with
reporting. We have to sort out a few problems before I can migrate to
Maven B8.

Thanks in advance

RE: New PMD plugin?

Ok but I see one issue that I'd like to resolve before starting creating
separate plugins: we need to be able to download plugins by declaring
them in user project's project.xml (as we had discussed some time ago,
see http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?t=102957733700002&r=1&w=2). Once this
is implemented I will be 2000% for it.

What do you think?

Thanks

How about we start now making a CVS repository for non-core plugins?

In short, man creates for himself a new religion of a rational
and technical order to justify his work and to be justified in it.
