Using LocalParams in StatsComponent to create a price slider?

Hi Mark, Just wondering if you ever resolved your issue here and/or if you
submitted a bug/improvement on
Lucene<https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR#selectedTab=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.project%3Aissues-panel>?
If not, I'll submit it.
