          Platform: Sun
        OS/Version: Solaris
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Enhancement
          Priority: Other
         Component: Appender
        AssignedTo: log4j-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: araavind@sify.com

While doing log rotation based on either based on size or time, we would like
to have a option to move the rotated file to different destination folder then
source log file is on.

If need i would like to contribute myself for the enchancement.

Thanks

Aravind
