--------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
I think this issue duplicated CLOUDSTACK-4296, which has been fixed in 4.1 branch

> Components: API
> Affects Versions: 4.1.1

> When using the listVirtualMachines method of the API including the name parameter will cause no results to be returned.
> When I do not use this parameter I can get a list a VMs to return. I then find a VM and a name I want and put it into a new query. No results are returned. I have double checked the spelling of the name.
> Other parameters seem to work fine (like hostid for example).
