[jira] [Comment Edited] (MTOMCAT-260) Bad default value for maven.tomcat.path

-----------------------------------------------------------------

The class {{AbstractExecWarMojo}} overrides the parameter path from its parent {{AbstractTomcat7Mojo}}, but gives it a different defaultValue. The Javadocs are also a bit different. If the behavior of the parameter is supposed to be the same, then just remove the parameter from {{AbstractExecWarMojo}} an let it use the inherited one.

> Maybe the default for {{maven.tomcat.path}} should be '/$\{project.artifactId}' instead of '$\{project.artifactId}'
> Also, why not use '/' ? Maybe the description could elaborate on that more?
