struts validate + style of fields

Hi peaple, i am new in heare and iÂ´m a brasilian developer.
So im have a question about struts validate,
I want to set the property errorStyleClass, but I dont want do it in jsp. I want do it in my method of validation.
My method params is:
ValidatorAction
Field
ActionMessages
Validator
HttpServletRequest

and so, exists any way that i can set this property in my method?
