   **Is your feature request related to a problem or challenge? Please describe what you are trying to do.**
   PR https://github.com/apache/arrow-datafusion/issues/2229 adds support to the logical planner for DATE +/- INTERVAL but the physical planner fails to plan this expression because it tries to cast the interval to a date. 
   
   **Describe the solution you'd like**
   We need to implement specific logic in the physical planner for DATE +/- INTERVAL because the current approach of trying to cast both sides of a binary expression to the same type do not work for this case.
   
   **Describe alternatives you've considered**
   None
   
   **Additional context**
   None
