Need help to tie the knot between students & cloud stack community

Dear Members,

Last week when I visited my collage (B.V.B Collage of Engineering & Technology<http://www.bvb.edu/>, Hubli), I saw lot of interest from the students on cloud computing, open source & how can they learn from & contribute back to the open source community.

Can you please help me in bridging the Gap between students & community, which will help to enlighten the students & will intern help the community by generating the interest & may subsequently help in increased contribution.

Thanks & Regards,

Aditya, this wiki page is just getting started, so the content is not finalized yet.

However students can find lots of info on slideshare and youtube to get going:

http://www.slideshare.net/cloudstack
http://www.aarondelp.com/2012/12/links-to-everything-cloudstack.html

and

http://buildacloud.org/cloud-computing-vids.html
http://www.youtube.com/diycloudcomputing

I would have them check those sites out, then checkout the cloudstack university wiki page.

Aditya,

Once they get started below resources, there are lot of opportunities in testing and automation which is a very good way to start to learn product hands on.
Please do encourage them in this area if there is interest. We have selenium framework and python framework which they can use to contribute.
Also current release have a ton of new features which will help them in learning and contributing to specific areas in cloudstack.

Thanks

RE: Need help to tie the knot between students & cloud stack community

Posted by Sudha Ponnaganti <su...@citrix.com>.

Thanks
/Sudha
