SyamprasadNakka opened a new issue #8548: Dashboard results are very slow when pointed to Postgres Database
URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-superset/issues/8548

   ### A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

We have pointed the **SQLALCHEMY_DATABASE_URI** to **POSTGRES** database in superset and created the slices using Oracle database connection.
When we accessing the slices from the Charts menu, getting the results in less than 5 seconds.

But when we place the slices in dashboard and access it from the "Dashboards" menu reports are loading very slow and taking more than 50 seconds to see the data.

Are there any pre-requisites to follow to point Superset to Postgres database or any other configurations needs to perform to solve the server slowness issue.

   ### Expected results

Results should show in the dashboard screen less than 10 seconds.

   ### Actual results

Report performance is very slow when we place it in dashboard and taking more than 50 sec to load.
