[jira] [Created] (HIVE-2409) Semicolons in strings/comments are parsed as query-ending.

Semicolons in strings/comments are parsed as query-ending.
----------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: HIVE-2409
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-2409
             Project: Hive
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Query Processor
            Reporter: Adam Kramer

This fails:
select '.*? (f_.*?)[ ;$]' from akramer_one_row ;

This succeeds:
select '.*? (f_.*?)[ \;$]' from akramer_one_row ;

...there is no reasonable syntactic structure that wuold require the escaping of a semicolon in a '-marked string. The query parser should NOT split on semicolons that are in strings OR in comments.
