slide concurrent question

hi,

I wonder may I use server computer to access slide as the same user(use the 
same user name and password), and let slide itself  manager the concurrent 
issue. for example, there are two clients use the same "root" use to 
checkout/checkin a same file, could slide handle it??

any help would be much appreciated.
