Cocoon, XML & Microsoft Index Server

Hi,

I am looking for a way to index XML files. The XML files are served by
Apache Cocoon which basically transforms them into HTML. Microsoft Index
Server is our search engine. Now the problem we face is that the index
server directly gets the file from the file system. The result is that the
original XML file is indexed. That's not what we want. What we do want is
that the index server pulls the pages over HTTP so that they are transformed
into HTML before they are indexed. Does anybody have the answer on how to
achieve this with Microsoft Index Server or that this is possible at all
with this product? Any other suggestions?

Regards,
Kris.
