org.apache.tools.ant.Project.log (...) question

Hi group

I am developping my own jakarta ant task. I have to say there is not so much 
documentation about this issue on the internet... Do you know some good one?

The reason of my Mail is actually that I want to debug my code, since it is 
not already working as I want it to; so I inserted some Log instructions. 
Neither in the API Documentation nor in my Magazine article I could find some 
information about how the logging works. Can I have the log text written in a 
file so I can see later how far the app. has been working? That is actually 
what I intended to do. How should it work?
