[HEADS UP] - Upgrade to Maven Wrapper 3.8.8

Hi

I did an upgrade from 3.8.6 to 3.8.8 this morning by
mvn wrapper:wrapper -Dmaven=3.8.8

Which automatic changes the needed files:

Also I wonder if we should upgrade to Maven 3.9 as its been out for a while
now

I'd wait until 3.9.3, else a bunch of unwanted warning may show up.
