mutex problem: samples won't work
I've install xerces-c on a freebsd 6.0 system with icu. After installing
the samples the only response I get is:
Cannot create, lock or unlock a mutex
Should I recompile without pthread?

I've been checking the efforts of the freebsd port maintainers. It looks
like pthread-enabled is broken. Check the textproc/xerces-c2 branch for
more.
