Use of Xalan in external applications

Hi,

I am developing a win32 application that uses Xalan and am wondering if
there are any caveats that I need to worry about. Specifically, I noticed
that some types are defined through typedefs, which can cause a problem on
destruction in win32 because win32 applications cannot delete memory
allocated in the DLLs that they are linking to.
