Compatibility between Xalan 1 & 2?

Hi all,

I want to ask about the compatibility between Xalan 1 & 2? I know the API
are changed. What I really concern is if the XSL stylesheet and XPath
expression that works in Xalan 1 would still be compatibility with Xalan 2.
