Hello,

We are using Spark 2.3.4 currently that does not allow .r files in Spark-Submit. However, the latest versions of Spark do. It is a bit difficult for us at the moment to upgrade the Spark version we are using. 

Can you point me to the Jira that added support for .r? I am not able to find it in the issues.
