conditional-page-master-reference works improperly on initial even pages
Summary: conditional-page-master-reference works improperly on
initial even pages
Product: Fop
Version: all
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows NT/2K
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: Other
Component: page-master/layout
AssignedTo: fop-dev@xml.apache.org
ReportedBy: geokevin@yahoo.com
My XSL alternates between left and right pages. When my inital-page
is odd everything works fine, but when my initial page is even, the
FIRST page prints as though it were odd, the second page also prints as
if it were odd and THEN it alternates.
FOP behaves as if the first page is FORCED to odd.
The example given in the fop-dev mailing list
(http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=fop-dev&m=100470249116899&w=2)
directs to an example in the fop distribution
(docs\examples\pagination\franklin-alt.fo) which
actually is a good demonstration of the problem. Just
change the initial-page to 2, and compare the pdf's.
You'll find that the initial page is generated as
an odd-numbered page.
I also have a zip file with XML and XSL which demonstrates
the problem more clearly.
