[jira] Created: (WICKET-1111) quickstart application without maven

quickstart application without maven
------------------------------------

                 Key: WICKET-1111
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WICKET-1111
             Project: Wicket
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: site
            Reporter: Dmitry Kandalov
            Priority: Minor

Sorry if it has already been discussed, I didn't spend much time searching.

In my view it would be good to additionally have several downloads for most popular IDEs with all dependencies inside so that user could download it and run in a favorite IDE straightaway. I don't mean that maven is bad but not everyone uses it. For them qiuckstart may be not that quick if they have to setup maven first.

Probably it may be a good idea having similar downloads for wicket sources with project which is setup to wicket svn.

I don't mind helping with anything of the above.
