[jira] Created: (MNG-3340) More flexible activation of profiles
More flexible activation of profiles
------------------------------------
Key: MNG-3340
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MNG-3340
Project: Maven 2
Issue Type: New Feature
Components: Profiles
Affects Versions: 2.0.8
Reporter: Erik Drolshammer
17:29 < Sherriff> Anyone know how to activate a profile if a certain file is in _path_?
17:29 < Sherriff> (i.e., not hardcode a specific path)
17:30 < wsmoak> where do you want to specify the path? with a property?
17:31 < trygvis> I just looked for that myself, but couldn't find any way
17:31 < Sherriff> I don't want to specify a path. The file (a script) is present in $PATH
It would be really nice if it were possible to activate a profile if a given file was found in PATH.
Typical use case: Only run a certain group of tests in a certain script/application is available.
