   Its still wip, its apache is all community driven, so it goes as fast as people can commit to. Contributors to help speed things up are always welcome, and is normally the best way to get what you need.
   
   Obviously if you wanted to go down a more commercial route, there are a number of companies that provide support and technical services for activemq, clients etc, with contributors and committers on the project, you could always also engage with those if you need, a list of known ones are here: http://activemq.apache.org/support.html
