Problem with TDK howto - ant init
Hi All,
I'm trying to follow the tdk howto document to build a sample application
(newapp). I'm using turbine 2.1 binaries, mysql and the sun1.4 jdk on win2k.
'ant init' croaks at the torque-sql target. The newapp database is created
but the tables are not. From what I can, see the problem occurs when
converting the xml schema into a vanilla SQL script.
Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem like Dave. Now that I took tdk-2.2-b2 the stuff
runs - except the initialization of table ID_TABLE. Here it seems that a
wrong calling order to the creation and population of ID-TABLE occurs.
After "ant init" there are only two entries present in ID_TABLE: RDF2
and RDF3. Using afterwards the created sql-script (don't remember the
name) fills in the missing entries.

Since no one else has replied I will attempt it.
I had the identical error to the one you are getting. I finally went with
the tdk-2.2-b1.zip from
<http://jakarta.apache.org/builds/jakarta-turbine/tdk/release/2.2-b1/>.
Even with this version it took some figuring out to get newapp to build and
work properly. I documented as much as I could in a post to this group on
July 3, 2002. Reading that post may help. I am still figuring out turbine
so my comments may not be worth much.
