Javier Puerto commented on DROIDS-104:
--------------------------------------

I'm agree with your appointment. I can't see the sense of using the proxy implementation forced to 'null'.

Commited on revision r1038802

Thanks for contribute.

>          Components: core
>            Reporter: Paul Rogalinski
>
> createHttpRoutePlanner() method in DroidsHttpClient does not provide any ProxySelector:
>   @Override
>  protected HttpRoutePlanner createHttpRoutePlanner()
> {
>   return new ProxySelectorRoutePlanner(getConnectionManager().getSchemeRegistry(), null);
> }
> proposed solution:
> @Override
> protected HttpRoutePlanner createHttpRoutePlanner()
> {
>   return new DefaultHttpRoutePlanner (getConnectionManager().getSchemeRegistry());
> }
> once patched one can set set the proxy in a standard httpclient manner:
> doirdsHttpClient.getParams().setParameter(ConnRoutePNames.DEFAULT_PROXY,new HttpHost("my.proxy.host",8080))
